This past weekend my son and I went to the First Green Festival in the NW that was held down in Edmonds. They had some great stuff, clothes, PUD, food and a band. Below are some girls that I met at a both called Sostane, Sisters of Sustainability, which these ladies are all members of, and under which they market their businesses: Gina Diamond, eco lifestyle coach,
Rebecca Wood, Country Meadow luxury spa products with Amy at EcoKind Design and you can go to her site @EcoKindDesign.com , also there was Green Diamond Consulting which is a Lifestyle coach and that would be Gina Diamond @ GreendiamondConsulting@comcast.net she can also be found at www.HelpMeGoGreen.org.. These gals are business owners, they have children, normal everyday lives who try to make a difference everyday in our society. There website is: www.sostane.com.
Below is me standing by this Echo friendly little car that I always see being driven around Edmonds.

I also spoke a few minutes with Doug O’Donnell who works for PUD. He was talking about the top 5 reasons to get a PUD Conservation Loan. Check out their website @ www.snopud.com….Tell them Margo and Doug sent you!

If you have any questions feel free to give me a call or send me a comment.
Thanks, enjoy your week everyone it is going to be nice out.

Two very nice people that we met at the bite “their salsa is amazing”
In September 2005, our mother/daughter team, Diana/Dawn, created D&D Specialties, LLC located in Issaquah, WA. This was just the beginning of an already flourishing relationship between the two women. The name “Mama’s Own” seems to have come naturally given it’s Dawn’s mother who has the original savory salsa recipe. Our salsa recipe has been passed down for generations.

I went to the bite of Edmonds and as usual it was great. Of course I had to have a chicken Gyros the G is pronounced as a Y and then right to the crepes YUM! There were so many restuarants to choose from. The desserts were as good as ever…my favorite is the chocolate dipped strawberries and bananas. Yet if felt different going to the bite, I don’t know a little quiet maybe for me. Well it was the first time ever that I went there without my kids. Apparantly, I am no longer cool to hang around with! So David and I went and the focus was different. I took pictures and paid attention to what others were doing. Below you will see how much fun it was and what a great time our community had.
The bite is over for this year but I hope you enjoy the shots we took.

These were some of my observations at the Taste of Edmonds “enjoy everyone”
